14 Days Acne Cure...Really?

14 days acne cure. Really? So, if you are anything like me you are an acne suffer? Perhaps you've been through a lot of embarrassment and low esteem because of your acne? Well, I certainly have. Even now I still get the occassional flare up which makes me feel like I did when I had acne really bad.

There is nothing worse than having a party or some other social occassion that is coming up at the weekend, and then you get a breakout! You try super hard to do something to stop it but it doesn't work. That really makes you feel bad....like really bad!

I've been through a lot of different treatments over the years, mainly stuff like clearosil, other creams, and stuff like that. They did have some minor success but they did not get rid of my acne which is what I wanted of course. After all of that stuff failed I went to see my doctor, he said I should go on to Accutane. That's right! The drug that has been associated with loads of health conditions like ulcerative collitis and crohns disease. In fact after two years I got crohns disease! The drug did clear up my acne for about 3 years but then it came back just as bad as ever.

So, I knew I needed to find something else that would work. I read a book called 14 days acne cure, this was a good help as it showed me what acne was doing and how it was starting up in the first place. This meant I was in a position to change the things that caused it if I wanted. The book pretty much explains how diet is the biggest thing that causes acne, combined with wether or not you are genetically predisposed to get acne. You CAN control what you eat and drink, and that measn you CAN control acne. Certain foods like pizza, cheese, milk, bread and many others can cause skin problems for certain people. They did for me!

I found that cutting out some of these foods was just the ticket to my skin improving. There are other important steps explained in 14 days acne cure as well though. Only cutting out certain foods will have a limited effect overall. Getting a good amount of sleep each night and drinking loads of water really helps too!
